A CHANCE TO LEARN CORE FAITH THROUGH THE ARTS AND SPOKEN WORD
Starting in Kindergarten, these classes join their families for the beginning of the later worship service.
- Kindergarten/First Grade: Over a two year cycle this class explores Bible stories in active and creative ways. Children return to their classroom after the Scripture readings in worship.
- Grade 2-3: Learning by doing is the key to this age group whether they are exploring Jesus and other people in the Bible or elements of worship.
- Grade 4-5: When 4th graders receive their Bibles in worship, something magical happens. This is the year students begin service projects in earnest too.
The Focus Program for 2nd–7th Graders
- Led by artists, musicians, and other creative people of faith, this time to express faith through a variety of art forms helps capture these students’ imaginations.
- The program takes place during the second half of the later worship service.
