Church Community Activities
Labyrinth
The labyrinth is a powerful spiritual tool for personal transformation. Walking in quiets the mind and opens the spirit, evoking a sense of wholeness. This prayer tradition has been used for centuries. Our Labyrinth is available the first Friday of every month from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in Hildebrand Hall.
A Space for Prayer
Join together Thursdays at noon in the sanctuary with others and spend this half hour in silence, quieting your soul and listening for God. We begin with a reading and close with a blessing.
Healing Prayer
Sometimes it is good to be prayed with and for. On the first Sunday of the month, lay and ordained ministers remain in the sanctuary following the service and are willing to join with you in prayer.
Prayer Ministry
The second Saturday of every month, we gather together to learn about and practice different forms of prayer, pray for each other and pray for those who have requested prayer. This group also organizes prayer opportunities for the whole congregation, such as silent prayer retreats and workshops on different styles of praying.
Seasonal Contemplative Worship
During the penitential seasons of the year (Advent and Lent), we offer an evening worship service formed around Scripture, silence and prayer. All are welcome. Dates and times vary each year.
