Crossing Borders is planning for the next delegation to visit Iglesia Morava in Managua, Nicaragua in 2010. Marcia Almquist will lead the delegation, and the dates will be determined by those interested in participating. We will have a meeting in August to begin our planning. Are you familuar with Seeds of Learning? It's a small group that builds schools in Nicaragua and El Salvador. It was started by a UCC minister, Todd Evans. Our church, Community Church of Sebastopol UCC, has sent several groups down to help build schools and we've had great experiences. This is a worthwhile mission trip! Check out their website.
