Oct 20 Announcing: Change Grant Finalists
The CSSA Board has selected three organizations as potential recipients for the first Plymouth Change Grant: Casa Latina, Recovery Café, and Seattle Youth Garden Works. Selecting these three from the six groups we presented to you for input was a great challenge, and we are grateful to everyone who provided feedback. You can learn more about each group on the Plymouth web site.
As difficult as it was to get to three, we know that choosing the one recipient will be even harder. Our next step will be to visit each of the three organizations. We’ll talk directly with them about their mission and how they see Plymouth partnering with them in time and talent, as well as money, over the three-year life of the grant.
The site visits will be in the first two weeks of November. ]If you have questions you’d like to submit for the site visits, additional infput on the finalists, or questions about the process, please contact Jennifer Castle (jcastle@plymouthchurchseattle.org).
One note: While the Church of Mary Magdalene is not a finalist for the Change Grant, we are working actively with the Mary’s Ministry Team to provide other kinds of support to CoMM during this critical time. Please contact Jennifer or Barbara Campbell if you have questions.
And stay tuned for the announcement of the grant award in mid November!
