January 30th = a WONDERFUL evening!
On behalf of all the youth + the other leaders, I offer HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who played a role in the wildly successful event.

Many hands came together to make the evening so much fun for the congregation + enjoyable for the youth, parents + leaders who hosted the event. It was really wonderful to see SO MANY different ages engaged with one another over dinner, dessert and games: truly an intergenerational, community event!

When you see the following folks, please thank them for their hard work: Dana Blazevic [overall logistics]; Pan Van Dalfsen + Eppie Williamson [food]; Emily Buckner + Chris Kahn [finances]; Emily Bristow [publicity + Dessert Dash]; Todd Matthews + Connie Sandstrom [auction]; David Mallory [games].

YOUTH LED WORSHIP

Sunday March 7th youth will lead both worship services on the 3rd Sunday in Lent. Preparations are underway to craft the liturgy for a service many in the congregation tell us is an annual favorite. It’s a Communion Sunday, so youth will stand alongside the pastors for this central ritual of our faith. The texts for that day are both uplifting + challenging. What music, prayers and reflections will our youth bring forth from them? Come join us to find out.
